Bird Garden is a new three minute film by Roberto Mighty -- a profile of photographer and painter Jean-Pierre Ducondi - "JP".
This film focuses on JP's photography. He is a native Frenchman now living in Massachusetts. He grew up in a small traditional town in northern France. His passion for painting and photography was ignited at a young age. Through his work he tries to express his fascination and romance with light, nature and life. His photography and painting are influenced by Impressionist painters Monet, Manet, Sisley and others. His wife's gardening prowess helps inspire his art. Roberto Mighty enjoys making films about artists and museums. His storytelling and cinematography is influenced by Caravaggio, Vermeer, Rembrandt and Durer. He filmed this piece over four days in August, 2015, using only available light for interiors and exteriors. Editing took another week.
